TrailsNW.com

TrailsNW is a long term project that initially just started as a collection of trails that I hiked. Over time, features have been added, other people have become interested, and it is now an active community of over 300 hikers and backpackers in the Pacific Northwest. The site allows visitors to post their own trail descriptions, photos, journals, and interact with other hikers.

Baseball at OMSI

With Portland gaining an MLS franchise and taking over the existing stadium where Portland’s AAA baseball team plays, a new stadium needs to be built to house the now homeless AAA baseball team. My proposal to place the stadium near OMSI caught some attention, and was featured on Portland Spaces Magazine’s website, along with PortlandArchitecture.com, and on the Portland Mercury website.

PDX World Food

I’m hungry, and am increasingly interested in how foods around the world relate to eachother. Of course, I would love to travel the world and learn more, but for now, I have mapped restaurants in Portland on a world map so I can take a world tour of food without needing to fund a round-the-world adventure (not that I wouldn’t love to!).
